Hello,
I´m currently in the process of sponsoring my wife, who is in Russia.
Couple of weeks ago I received a letter stating that I´m approved as a
sponsor and our application is being sent to visa office in Moscow.
I would like to invite my wife to visit me and wondering how easy it
would be for her to get a visitor visa.
We don´t have an intention for her to stay illigaly in Canada and I
would like her to visit me for a month or two.

you can try but do not get your hopes up. they will suggest that you are trying to anticipate the immigration process - and that you should wait for her PR or got to Russia if you wish to see her.
