Hi All,
Does anyone know what does PPS and ISD stand for which is mentioned along with the file number.

Hi Alan,
Where did you get those abbreviations from?
If they came from CAIPS notes, I know that PPS stands for point at paper screening stage, but I don´t know about ISD.

Hi Faith
It generally appears on the envelope with the file # if and when you receive anything from CIC. It has nothing do do with CAIPS I suppose. Initially it appeared as PPS and now along with the file # it has been noted as ISD
Im in the last stage and awaiting my visa.

Hi Alan,
I wasn´t sure whether it was from CAIPS notes.
I am also at the last stage and waiting for my visa. I don´t know what PPS and ISD stand for. By my file # I have MP. I think it could be the initials of the officer. But that´s just a guess.
