I am in the early 2006 club. Today I got an email from buffalo again with the same message. I was expecting a different one like " we will send a letter...".
My time line is
Started Processing June 11, 2004
Meds Feb 18, 2005
RPRF - May 2005
Since my medicals will be expiring Feb 18, any suggestions?

Please email them again today narraating that your medical is expiaring on Feb 18. In this situation when you are going to get your Passport request. I think this will give you an answer. This will help. Either you will get you PR or probably a medical extension. Be precise in asking question.

OMG, it´s really confusing...
I got three diffrent resposes (from diffent persons) to one of my email enquiry. One reply even says my PPR was sent to an address which is actually not mine.
BTW, I received my PPR yesterday in which the address was correct.

I sent them an email saying that my medicals are expiring Feb 18th. In response I got an early 2006 message.

Medical can be extend for another 6 months if you live in US or Canada. Dont worry if CIC don´t send you medical form, you don´t have to do medical again.

Even I got the early 2006 reply twice. BTW my medicals have already expired and hopefully they have been extended too.
I believe since the delay was from there side, they will automatically extend your medicals.
From my understanding our files haven´t been reviewed in the new year so tht´s the reason we are getting early 2006 replies. Once they have been reviewed, the email replies would be more specific.

the responce i got today from them is the same with an additional line saying, YOUR FILE IS COMPLETE...... Now what does this mean?

I would not be too much worried about the medical expiry for the applicants who haven´t left Canada or US since the application was submitted. Based on my case, I believe that medical would be extended upto one year. CIC replied me in Aug that my medical was extended for one year. So, don´t worry too much. I hope early 2006 group will get their PPR by mid Feb.
