Subject: Is there a cap for number of years on work-permit?
  Hi All:
Does any one know if there is any kind of a cap on number of years one could be on a work permit visa in Canada? Some thing similar to the 6 years max. cap on H1B visa´s in the US?

I´d been in Canada since Oct. 2003 on a work permit, and would like to get it extended one more time. My current work permit is to expire in April 2006.

Please advise.
