Hi All,
I am planning to buy Cambridge IELTS Course book (
Insight Into IELTS). Please let me know whether I will get the Audio CD for practice along with the book.
I am worried about the test which I am going to give this month.
Please let me know what books I need to buy. I am preparing for the General Test. I am worried about the Listening more, because I watch English Movies only with the subtitles :(

Hi Mamtha,
I appeared for the IELTS in the US last month.
One advice that I can give you is to practice and get familiar with the test format. Be sure you know very well what is waiting for you.
My biggest problem was lack of vocabulary. I used flash cards and they really helped me.
I used the official books and it worked very well for me. I am actually selling my books through amazom.com. They have no marks/highlightings.

You have all IELTS materials downloadable on a russian immigration site.Don´t buy,download for free.Good luck

Hi Boki,
Thanks for the info. I am looking into the website.
Which one would you recommend to read? There are a whole lot of resources. I will surely do the Practice Tests for 4.
But please let me know what other books could be helpful to me. I am giving my exam in another 2 weeks. Last moment preparation :(

sorry for replying this late,guys. dell is correct. that is the site for downloads. when i took IELTS I only purchased sample test (book+cd) and PLUS this site ...and I got reading 7,speking 8, writing 7.5,listening 7.5
