Subject: CAIPS
I got my second CAIPS today. One of the entry says:

B INTVW REQUIRED FOR SUBJ and the date was 01-SEP-2005.

Does this mean that I was selected for an interview? If yes, how come I did not receive anything regarding that matter? And why did they change their mind at this time and asked me for an interview after they had waived for me long time ago?

Any input?

They might waive it later on . This happened with me.I saw this in caips and then another note was entered " B Intv is no longer required".

Good luck

My CAIPS iput is the same as you. B INTVW FOR XXXX. The date of input is October 17 of 2005.
My wife is principal applicant. But I was required to attend the Security interview on July of 2005. Then no news so far. Then we got the CAIPS and leant that my wife will required for ´B INTVW´ but the date of attendence is still unkown. I think B INTVW means background interview.

There was no date next to that statement, so i dont think that they have scheduled it yet.

Today we got the letter requiring the principal applicant to attend the interview in Buffalo in March of 2006.
I am the spouse. I attended the 3-hour security interview in July of 2005. It is more like an interrogation.
