| Subject: Apply WITHOUT PROOF OF FUNDS? |
Did anyone apply without having proof of funds? Can I give´em this document later? It takes 1 year till Initial Assessment anyway.
Please answer either way.

I had confirmed whether the CIC needed funds while appying since the IA takes more that 1 yr. The officer answered that they wil not process the application if they dont get the proof of funds while applying . She said the application will be send returned. There should be definite proof of fund while applying .

You do not have to have funds if you are being sponsored by a Canadian citizen spouse.
