How much of mony should I bring when Landing

Subject: How much of mony should I bring when Landing
Dear Members,

I will Land in Febrauary, My questio is that how much of mony should show to officer when Landed, note that I prefare to withdorw my mony through Master Card of distination country.

my understanding is that you need to have ´in hand´ your (you and whoever is landing with you) full settlement funds in the form of cash, bank draft, travellers cheques or have it already on deposit in a Canadian bank. Funds held outside the country is no comfort to CIC officials because there is no assurance you will/can access it.

My understanding is even a bank statement is good enough...is this true? I plan to land and return to the US to have my children finish out the school year. I would appreciate a reply from anyone who was in a simular situation and used a bank statement to rerply. Thanks and Happy Holidays and New Year!
