I have been looking at the following two sites for timelime, and yogi99 site seem to indicate KL is one of the fastest.

What´s your timeline? Mine to CIC KL was:
Applied: Sept 2005
AOR: Sept 2005
Since then, nothing. Could be a long wait of 24-36 months as stated in the AOR.

Hi PK,
Submitted in December 2005. No AOR yet, but I emailed them 2 weeks after submitting and they replied that the letter is in the mail.....been a week now still no AOR. I am disappointed that they state in your letter that it is going to take 24-36 months...they have so few back logs in 2005...only 200 cases...wonder why they are taking so long...compared to other centers... see this website

Hi Ang,
Thanks for the information on the backlog cases. Yeah,it´s difficult to understand the operations of CIC KL. Nevertheless, I like to think the AOR was just a standard reply. Of help to us would be if people who applied in 2004 are willing to share their timelines. I hope you´ll recieve your AOR soon.
