POLICE REPORTS FROM ABU DHABI (in reply to: UAE Police Clearance)
Hello Prajesh PV... you just have to go to the main police head-quarters to request your police report... they will need:
- Dhs 50
- 2 photos
- they will take your finger prints
- fill out a form

AFter you fill our the form, take finger prints, pay the money, they will send it to you via impost... THAT´S IT!

Of course you must present your passport and your residency must be valid at the time you request your police report... it takes about a week or so for it to be sent...

Since you are in Abu Dhabi... it should super easy for you to get it! Gool luck!

Dubai PCC (in reply to: UAE Police Clearance)
Dear Being_There and Forum Members,

We have received update submission in 90 days from Canadian High Commission including Dubai PCC on 21 Jan 2008. We are Indian PP holders of four members (2 adults + 2 children)living in Dubai for the past 18 years. I am the principal applicant. Do I have to get PCC for my wife also, does she need to give finger print as well? I don´t think my kids would require!! What are the procedures, if some one explain in detail please.....

Thanks in advance - Rav

(in reply to: UAE Police Clearance)
Yes Rav, you, your wife and any other member of your family 21 years of age and older must submit a police report for the UAE and for any other country they have lived in for a period of 6 months or longer... so yes, your wife will be required to get her finger prints taken...
For more details and information regarding your immigration process, I suggest that you visit the CIC home page: www.cic.gc.ca
There you will find a lot of useful info...
Good Luck!
