Subject: H1 when applied, now H4 but working, danger or ok
Applied for Canada Immigration when on H1, later became H4 but I never informed consulate somehow I got a job despite an H4 and continued working.

I have recently paid "Right of permanent residence fee" and my shithead consultant told me that RPR means I´m through and will soon get immigration.

Now I´ve recd. a letter from consulate asking to produce last 3 yrs. W2 forms + letter of employment
technically, I can get both from my current employer BUT the moment canada consulate sees that I have H4 and still working, will the shit hit the ceiling!!

More importantly, will canadaian authorities go ahead and inform US authorities that could kick me out of US too! do these two agencies work like that!

Is it better to think that almost 7000$ that went for various fee + consultant charges was a bad investment and chew a bitter pill or does Canada Consulate generally says, its ok for them.

I´ll much rather forget the money than be kicked out from US too. Sure its a very very expensive way of forgetting hard earned money and is very devastating but option of leaving US will be an equally bigger killer for me.

Your replies will be GREATLY appreciated, even if they are potentially heartbreaking. Thank you all.

yes, medical done (in reply to: H1 when applied, now H4 but working, danger or ok)
IA was about a year back, medical is done, never got any interview waiver. though I´m slightly confused because someone told me earlier that if Right of perm fee has been paid and medical is done, it automatically means interview is waived! do you know if its true or otherwise!
Thanks

Jay:

If they sent you medical form with IA, then it must be written on your IA that interview is waived. Read it carefully. Technially , it is impossible.Right of permanate residency can be paid anytime.Even at the beginning of application. There is no automatic interview waiver. you must receive it in wriiten.

I guess you can show proof of employment, w4 etc for the legal period of employment and write a letter explaining that you did not work during the H4 period because it is illigal.

Then you will get points only for the period of employment and you should be all clear.

I have a question for you too. When you work with H4 and use your SSN, can US authorities find out?
