| Subject: 50% in 24 months |
Hi
As you know from the CIC website, 50% of Buffalo SW files were finalized in 24 months. Can someone who got interview waiver be almost sure that the file will be among the ones finalized in less than 24 months?

Wow - that is a shift ot timeline.
I had applied in 2004, at that time most of the cases I knew were being finalized in 15-18 months.
I guess this is directly related to increase in number of cases applied for?

IA is at least taking 1 year from AOR. The good old times of getting an application finalized in 15-18 months are gone.

It really difficult to say. ALL my friend who applied to Buffalo as SW some time before we did (at least 8 months before us) - got PR faster, than in 24 months (10-19 months, depending on conditions). We are waiting since the Oct. 2003, nothing yet, howevere based on CAIPs- nothing is wrong with pour papers.

As far as processing time is concerned, nothing is really consistent. The timelines from CIC website are based on the past 12 months cases they´ve handled/finalized.
However, if the applicant has a really simple and regular case and has submitted his application in a really "doubt-free" manner, then there is a chance that with interview waiver, the case will be finalized in less than 24 months.
