Hi Guys
I have question about FBI fingerprints
I order my second clarification on October 25 and didn`t get any respond.
how long did you wait for this in your case?

unless you put a deadline on your request it could take 6-8 weeks or more.

Like I said, usually they take 6-8 weeks, but everyone puts a deadline, usually 2-3 weeks out and gets them before the 2 weeks is ever up.
Try emailing to see if you can get the status of them. mih@leo.gov

It tooks us two month - just as the Canadian immigration instructions said it would take.

Hi Anna,
Do you have the fingerprinting card already? Already fingerprinted?
If yes just mail to FBI with a cover letter and the money order of $18. In this cover letter you need to put a deadline date. Give them at least 3 weeks to work on it. If you will act fast you can still send the report before Jan 18.
Also on the envelope, write the deadline date too. This will expedite your request. Mine took two weeks only.

Mail the FINGERPRINTED CARD; COVER LETTER AND $18 money order to:
FBI CJIS Division ? Record Request
1000 Custer Hollow Road
Clarksburg, West Virginia 26306
If you don´t have the card yet, this is how it looks like:

You can either contact the FBI and request for one or you can go to a Private Investigation company, they have the card and can get your fingerprinting done too on the same day for an extra cost. Once fingerprinted, mail with the cover letter and the payment as mentioned above.

I got my FBI fingerprints done from the following RCMP accredited and certified fingerprinting agency:

They are forensic professionals and I believe they are proficient in taking digital and ink & roll fingerprints.
The fingerprint technicians at this lab check fingerprints under magnification to make sure that they are clear as per FBI requirements.
