niether. It is a date set in the system that forces someone to physically handle/look at your file. It is an insurance measure so no file is accidentally left sitting at the bottom of a pile somewhere.

Based on my caips codes...PA means storage area of our files...
Just like most of our files, your file was set aside/kept or sent to PA as they called it and will be looked at again on Oct 1, 2005 (BFD date) unless something comes up before that date......
so chances are, your file was looked at again and reviewed by an officer last October 1, 2005 (your bfd)...if your file is still waiting for something then most probably a new BFD date has been assigned to your file....if your file is complete then maybe finalization is going on.
