Subject: bypass the PCC requested in IA
  Hi everyone,

I need your opinion/experience on the following issue,

I submitted original PCC when I applied to CIC back in October 2004. My PCC was dated August 2004 and I have been in Canada since then.

Now I received IA and CIC has asked for original PCC again. However, this time I would have to apply through the embassy and it would take around 5 months to get it.

Can I just provide CIC with a letter stating that I haven´t left Canada since 2004 and they already have the original PCC for the time prior to that? In this case, what would they accept as the proof? is copy of all passport pages sufficient?

btw, here´s my timeline:

Skilled-worker Buffalo
Applied: Oct. 2004
AOR : Feb. 2005
IA : Nov. 2005

Thanks,
Spec
