Got my medical done on Oct 14, 2005.
Received my landing fees receipt also.
Sent my passport 2 weeks back to CHC New Delhi.
How much time does it normally take to get passport back( with visa stamped on it)?

Without informing details like under what category have you applied and did you send your passport in responce to PP request it is difficult to respond.

It will take 8-11 months to stamp the visa after the medicals and till that time get cool and try some work exp and english assent

I sent my passport after receiving pp request only.
And I have applied under skilled category

Tuli, there is someone else in this forum too (Ramandeep) who has sent his PP to CHC Delhi and he is facing a delay. The backlog could mean that you should expect it in 2006. DO a forum search on CHC New Delhi and you should get an idea.

BTW, just because others are facing a delay with CHC New Delhi doesnt mean that you should do too. I would check back with New Delhi in a month or atleast ask them to see if they have recieved it.

Tuli, Could you inform if the PP request came alongwith the medical or did you get a seperate pp request. Because if you sent the PP in responce to the PP request wihch came alongwith the medical, than atleast 8 to 10 months, and if you got a seperate PP request after doing medicals than 2 to 4 months.
If anyone else on this forum can give their experience, please do so.
