I know you have a problem with my name. It´s OK. My guy struggled for months and months before he admitted he used my middle name with his family. I was happy to let him call me Julia. I would want to change his name too if it was Osama or Hitler. However, you know... Sherin (that is how you say it) is a good Irish name and has very little to do with the other name that causes you so many problems. I even think he has had a change of heart the past few years!
My mother had a German name. When my father was dating her during the second world war he was almost forbidden from marrying her as a Canadian soldier. So what we do to each other - so crazy.
You can call me whatever you like. It is only a name.

they don´t know the meanning, come on , I don´t use English name at all. Just use my first name both at work and college!well, my first name is pretty easy.
Can you imagine you see a 5feet short asian boy called himself David, and then you saw a White guy, called himself Ying Yang!! haha
you know what? we should never change or pick up name from what our parents gave to us.

That is great Julia I like this name very much. From now on I´ll say Julia so when u see a thread called " To Julia" be sure tht is me calling you.
Chinese should use English names, but half of them their names are WANG and to my surprise once I was talking to a
chinese guy and ofcourse we all know that most of chinese look like themselves when I was young I thought all chinese are twins were born from a very big mother and very strong guyyyyy, then I was about to ask that chinese guy why all chinese look like themselves and before I ask him he asked me why do all people in this counry look like themselves! ! ! ! ! I SAID WHATTTTTTTTTTT he said yes look at this guy how is coming to us he looks exactly like u! ! ! ! !

Can you please explain what´s so offensive with her name? Sharon sounds normal to me.
I for one have used this pseudonym(Samson) because I liked it, plain and simple.
And it is strange to know that in your country the government does just the opposite of the needs of the people.

What RW is alluding to is the last name of Israel´s prime minister. RW is, I´m guessing, an Arab Muslim.
Of course the Israeli PM´s name is pronounced differently, SHUH-RAWN, as opposed to the English SHA-REN.

I don´t want to be plotical here as it is not it´s place but that SHARON is an enemy to man kind not Arab Muslims. He never diffeniate Muslim, Chrstian any religion. It is not a matter of ethnic or religion it is a matter of some one occupied some one else land ans still complain coz the owner wants his land that is all.
Sharon, Wang will be very good for canadian female or let it sharwang.

RW... you are right- this is not a place for politics. We all see the world in very different ways. That is what is wonderful about Canada. We learn to live beside people our parents were taught to hate - and we all get along.
one small political thing... My guy is sensing that Mr Sharon has started to see the error of his ways. It will never bring back or repair the damage he has caused... but perhaps there is hope for a peaceful future.
