I´m a live-in caregiver,married to a canadian citizen.We applied for spousal sponsorship last August 2005,until now we haven´t recieved our file number. How many months we are going to wait before they will give us our file number and how many months before I will get my PR. What will happen if I´m going to finish my 24 months as a live-in caregiver and they did not realise my spousal sponsorship for my PR.Can I still renew my work permit as a live-in caregiver or I can´t work. If the Gov´t does not allow me to work,what will happen to me.Thank you so much for your help.
