What documents do I need to notarize?
On average how long does it take to get a receipt/reference number from Canadian consulate in Buffalo? I wanted to send in FBI fingerprinting report later on. They will need some sort of reference for that, I assume.

Reference number (AOR) should take about 2-3 months.
I wouldn´t worry about fingerprints. That won´t be asked until way after Initial Assesment.
